  11.       I recently purchased a Reveal 28.8 modem model PM700.
  12.       It has connected reliably at 57600 to my provider as well as
  13.       local bbs's.My cps rate is as expected for line quality.My
  14.       problem is I can download at a good cps rate 2500-3100
  15.       cps,but I have never exceeded 1500 while uploading ether
  16.       on the net,retrieving a file via e-mail or local bbs uploading.
  17.       Most of the time it is much slower.I would think line quality
  18.       would be the same for uploads as well as downloading.
  19.       I have yet to reach Reveals tech support as their line is 
  20.       CONSTANTLY busy.(I think the phone is off the hook)  :-(
  21.       Has anyone had this prob. with their modem?Any suggestions
  22.       would be appreciated.
  23.              One other point...it is SUPPOSED to be a "smart" modem   
  24.      that adapts to line conditions but as I stated above I would 
  25.      think the line quality would be the same for uploads as well as
  26.      downloads.
